NINJIO Releases Enterprise Simulated Phishing Solution as Cyberattacks Continue to Gain Momentum.

PRESS RELEASE FROM NINJIO
May 27, 2021

As phishing becomes one of the most prevalent attack vectors in the cybersecurity landscape, NINJIO, a cybersecurity awareness training company currently serving some of the largest organizations in the world, has launched the first ever simulated Phishing as a Service (PHAAS) platform to help companies thwart these attacks.

Over the past year, cybercrime has increased dramatically as bad actors have taken advantage of remote workers and companies conducting more business online than ever before. In 2019, nearly one-third of all cybersecurity breaches were reported to involve phishing. By the end of 2020, according to Verizon’s most recent Data Breach Investigations Report, phishing was the top threat activity involved in security breaches and accounted for nearly 90 percent of social engineering attacks.

NINJIO PHISH comes in as a fully managed phishing simulation platform that removes the heavy lifting for teams by configuring templates and pre-schedules simulated phishing exercises. By training employees to spot phishing attempts in simulated, low-stakes environments, companies are better prepared for when real phishing attacks occur.

“Phishing simulations allow you to test and quantify that human vulnerability safely and proactively,” explains NINJIO founder and CEO Zack Schuler. “NINJIO PHISH works by sending benign simulated phishing attacks to your team, tracking their actions, and reporting back to you.”

In a simulated phishing attack created with the Department of Homeland Security, NINJIO’s training resulted in only one in 600 employees falling for the phishing attempt. After continuous monthly training with NINJIO’s neuroscience-backed content delivery methodology, employees demonstrated not only a general security awareness, but an ongoing security mindset.

NINJIO PHISH sits within NINJIO’s suite of 3 to 4-minute microlearning training videos. Accordingly, NINJIO PHISH content is varied and effective, developed daily to respond to real-world threats and scams. The solution is natively integrated into the NINJIO DOJO Security platform and has a feature set that includes the ability to clone a URL—providing virtually unlimited templates and a robust test to an organization’s security. Combined with customizable PHISH reporting capabilities that integrate seamlessly into email clients and encourage proactive employee participation (as well as robust simulated tests reporting on user behavior), organizations can keep training dynamic and take their security program to the next level.

“The unfortunate truth about phishing attacks is that employees are the weak link in your cybersecurity,” remarked Schuler. “NINJIO PHISH will help restore a culture of safety and security among your team so you can focus on what matters most.”
